Topic description:  Our world is changing at an accelerated pace, in multiple ways and in greater magnitude. What implications does this have for HR leaders and the teams they manage? How can HR leaders adapt to this shift and with what skills? How can they function as effective fulcrums for their organizations? The session helps answer these questions and more. 

Vidya Moorthy owns and manages two organizations - Austin based Clural LLC and Bassett Education India based in India. Both her companies help develop content for professional development and upskilling in multiple areas including multicultural communication and DEI. She serves on the boards of  multiple organizations including Texas Diversity Council, WilcoHR, LEEF, and Texas Women in Business. 

She is primarily a communication strategist and facilitator. With her experience in human resources and professional development that spans nearly 25 years and three continents, her work is an interesting mix of the eastern and western worlds and her insights are rooted in her global perspective. A proud graduate of Michigan State University and a mother to two beautiful teenage daughters and a lab - here's her take on how changes have impacted HR leaders.
